Join {S&S}

Are you thinking about joining Saints and Soldiers? If so then you have come to the right place. Saints and Soldiers started as an America's Army clan in October of 2005. Over time we have grown beyond AA into a more generalized online gaming community. We also are a group of Christians that decided we needed a safe place of our own to gather and fellowship. It used to be Christians only who could join and be members, but after 4 years of life and growth we decided it was time to open our doors and let any and all beliefs in to join our little group of gamers to be members, leaders, and valued additions of S&S. At {S&S} we try to provide a family friendly safe environment. We do not allow foul or abusive language, behavior, or attitudes. We also do not put up with intolerance or bigotry of any kind. Those who are Christians here try our best to walk with Christ and treat others with respect and kindness, no matter how our beliefs differ. A gamer once said, "In life, we're all newbs, but we try not to be."

If you wish to become a member of {S&S} Saints & Soldiers you must complete the following 4 step process.

Step One: Learn More About Us
Before you apply for membership it's important that you know who we are and what we are about. To help you learn more about us we have come up with several documents for you to look over and consider. The first place I would suggest you start is our Membership Requirements. Next it would serve you well to view our Code of Conduct to see exactly what behaviors and attitudes we expect of our members.

Step Two: Application
Once you have read all the documents in Step One above if you find yourself with a desire to join {S&S} the next step is to apply. In order to fill out a membership application you must be register on our website forums. You can register by clicking on this link register for website account here.

After you register an account on the website you will be permitted to fill out a membership application. Once you have submitted your application it will be emailed to our member in charge of applications. Upon receiving your application that member will then post your application in the Application Area forum of the website. You can find this forum here: Application Area.

After your application is posted in the forums a member of staff will review your application to make sure all information required has been provided. Failure to provide all requested information may result in your application being delayed or even denied. Once all required information is provided a staff member will perform a background check using various internet anti-hacking databases. We do this to assure that known cheaters do not gain access and ruin our reputation.

Once a determination has been made about application it will be posted in the application thread. Please bookmark your application thread and check back often. It can take a day or two for the application to be received and then processed before a final determination can be made. If accepted, you will also receive a private messages welcoming you to the clan and telling you what to do next.

Step Three: Trial Service
Once you are accepted you will become a {S&S} recruit. As a recruit you will expected to complete a trial period of service. The purpose of the recruiting period is to give everyone a chance to get to know one another. Our full members want to get to know you and we hope you want to get to know us before making a final commitment to join. The length of time it takes a person to become a member depends entirely on the activity level and quality of the recruit. The more active you are on the forums, teamspeak, xfire, and in-game the sooner we will consider making you a full member. If there are behavior problems or if you are not very active your recruiting period may take a while.

Step Four: Full Membership vote
Every few weeks our clan will run a Full Member poll. During this time recruits who may be ready for full membership are discussed and voted upon. Every full member of our clan has an opportunity to vote and these polls are determined by majority rule. During the vote members are asked to discuss the recruit's behavior, attitude, personality and how, it all comes together to benefit the clan.

Most active and friendly recruits will become full members. On a rare occasion a recruit may be removed from the clan if it is judged that they just don't mix well. If you are fortunate enough to be granted full membership a forum announcement will be made and your status around the clan will change. Full members get powers and privileges that show both respect and trust.
