WHO WE ARE

LIFE

CHURCHES

~Community~

The early church was named the “ecclesia”, a community of believers that did life together. Jesus did life with his disciples and therefore had intimate friendship with them.  After He resurrected they continued to have all things in common.  They sold their possessions and goods, and distributed them as there was need.  (Acts 2:44-45)  They assembled together as different functioning parts of the body and edified one another by taking turns bringing a psalm, a teaching, a revelation, a tongue and interpretation.  (2 Corinthians 14:26)  Day after day in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.  (Acts 5:42)  They devoted themselves to prayer and sharing meals together in sincere gladness.  Because God is relational and built us to be relational, life church fellowships thrive in developing believers in an intimate way.  Apostle Paul indicates that there are many teachers but few fathers, and that he became a father to those he discipled through Christ Jesus.  (1 Corinthians 4:15)  We commit ourselves to pastoring people in that same way.  We will be all things to all men for whatever the need is on their journey. (1 Corinthians 9:22)

~Be Loved~

We love others because He first loved us.  (1 John 4:19)  For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whomever shall believe in Him shall have everlasting life.  (John 3:16)  People will know that we are Jesus’ disciples by the way we love one another.  (John 13:34-35)  Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.  (John 15:13)

~Be Transformed~

It is impossible to encounter the Almighty God through Christ Jesus and not be left transformed.  Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.  (2 Corinthians 5:17)   Life church leaders will foster a worshipping atmosphere for people to be able to encounter God for themselves.  (1 Chronicles 16:23-25)  The community of believers will assist in making disciples of all disciples through love, encouragement, teaching, reproving, rebuking, and exhortation with great patience through relationship founded on the Holy Bible, the inspired Word of God.  (2 Timothy 4:2-5)  Life church leaders will also lead believers through deliverance from unclean spirits and pray for inner and physical healing.  (1 Peter 5:8-9 and James 5:13-16)  Transformation is our way of life.  We continue to be redesigned, matured and directed by the Holy Spirit.  We are on constant “lookout” for an opportunity to be changed and perfected and conformed to the image of our Master, Jesus Christ.

~Be Equipped~

Instructing individuals with God’s Word, we will lead the way in demonstrating to each believer how they can go to the throne room themselves and get fresh revelation for the day.  New and mature believers will be baptized in the Holy Spirit and built up with every tool they need to get healing, deliverance, growth in Christ Jesus, overcome evil and save souls.  (Acts 19 1-5)  In edification of all believers, we will put into practice all the spiritual tools we have access to, including prophecy, words of wisdom, words of knowledge, gifts of healing, workings of miracles, gift of faith, gift of tongues and interpretation.  We will also train you up to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:11-12)  For the weapons of war are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.  (2 Corinthians 10:4)  Jesus came that we may have life abundantly!

~Be Sent~

The Lord tells us he knew us and even set us apart before we were formed in the womb.  (Jeremiah 1:5)  He has plans for each and every one of us to uniquely fulfill on this earth.  (Jeremiah 29:11 and Phillipians 1:6)  We will make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Spirit.  (Matthew 28:19)  As a life church community we will be confirming and building up the already predestined call, gifts, and talents on an individual’s life.  Through prayer and wisdom we will partner with God in sending them out.  (Acts 13:3)  We also embrace both the Lord’s local and global visions for this ministry and will send out as well as receive prophets, evangelists, teachers, worshippers and pastors.  Saints and Soldiers will be a cross pollination hub of all parts of the body of Christ for the edification of the church body as a whole.

We are not just saints who are part of a royal priesthood; we have been enlisted as soldiers into the army of God. Let us help you or your ministry train for battle!

IMPACT STORIES

Mikaila, 19 yrs

House church has really impacted my life and especially during the time I had my son Malakai.   God has brought such amazing people into my life…  I am growing everyday of my life, and I can’t wait for God to show me my future.  I am so happy to have God in my life.  I have been impacted differently in a positive way…  you feel just this sense of hope and grace in His name—you just feel alive and all those feelings of guilt, stress, anxiety, abandonment, worthlessness all washes away when you give Him all of you and just believe He will do amazing things in your life.  Praise God and Amen!

Irina, 43 yrs

The Lord told me one day I’m giving you a family, and He showed me Janelle and Jabar.  I didn’t understand what He meant.  I never had such a powerful experience with the Lord.  I was scared and frightened, because I had been hurt so much by people.  But I decided to step out in faith to what he told me to do-(to move in with them).  I never understood what true family was until then.  He showed me what God’s family is like through their family and their house church community. I had close fellowship with them under the same roof.  My biological mom and dad were never able to give me what the Lord gave me through them.  The way they presented God’s family with house church, with community, the way they opened their house to someone in need, and be obedient to the voice of God………  The Lord was able to fulfill and move in such a powerful way in such a short period of time.  God accomplished a tremendous amount of work in that short period of time in me, who was coming from a lot of baggage, hurt and pain. It’s amazing how God put things together through their obedience to the Holy Spirit.  We are strong and unified through the house church community.  We have to be one. We cannot be scattered.
